anarchistwood are making eight LPs. We are halfway there!!!

This is particular piece is part II of “Tales of Death and Sex in Two Parts”

Part I is The Nasty Album, released Odin's day 21st December 2016 c.e.

Part I took a few sol cycles to record. So, long, in fact, that we wrote another LPs worth on music in the meantime. This is it. It was originally dedicated to John Lalley. He built a bungalow in his garden specifically designed for making music in. He built it illegally. It went to court for many years, but eventually they charged him so much council tax on it, that the building got a sort of 'squatter's rights'.

He liked music and being around musicians, so back in the 1970's he created this very fucking special space for us all - with the help of The Ruts, apparently.

Many people used the space over the years, some good, some, not so good.

We had it exclusive use of the studio for the last four years.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week – access for noise at a cheap rate.

Reciprocity was also acted out with caring for John in his later years. He died when he was 82. We love him and thank him for his vision and liberation of a ley line in Colindale.

We wrote all the music for album number 2, number 3 and this one at said den of symbiosis.

The main practice day for anarchistwood was usually Odin's day. Taking this day off from my many part time jobs, I would have counseling in the morning (ta Gary :)) and then I go and see my friend and mentor, Charlotte Bunbury.

We would spend a few hours taking about family and taking the piss, then I would leave to see John at the House of Lalley.

John died 2013, Charlotte died 2014.

The title track was a layered solo jam of three basses, that I did at the HoL less than 18 hours after he had passed over. 84bpm. Mourning maniac music.

The cover of this album is a variation of a 16”x20” collage I made for Charlotte in her final year.

The hat trick of remembrance goes to Khristian Oliver. Khristian was another member of Thee Ancient Order of Maelific Jesters. He was also on death row in Texas. He isn't any more. My last letters to him didn't get through before they snuffed him. Printed material. Like shit, it was. They whacked him on November 5th 2009. Fuck you, Texas pro-deathers.

All artist and label profit from this album goes to various Haitian disaster charities. Grass roots, no corporate stuff.

The Soviet government paraded missiles and marched soldiers on May Day. The American government has called May 1 “Loyalty Day” and associates it with militarism. The real meaning of this day has been obscured by the designing propaganda of both governments. The truth of May Day is totally different. To the history of May Day there is a Green side and there is a Red side.

Under the rainbow, our methodology must be colorful. Green is a relationship to the earth and what grows there-from. Red is a relationship to other people and the blood spilt there among. Green designates life with only necessary labor; Red designates death with surplus labor. Green is natural appropriation; Red is social expropriation. Green is husbandry and nurturance; Red is proletarianization and prostitution. Green is useful activity; Red is useless toil. Green is creation of desire; Red is class struggle. May Day is both.

A small town, filled with comfortable merchants and their well fed wives likes twinkling in the valley as the clouds drift peacefully acros the night sky. In the distance a wolf howls, and another, and another and soon the night is filled with the roar of howling wolves.
The sounds merge into a chaotic chorus as the wolves gather together under the fullness of the moon.
Lights go on all across town. Gentlemen in pajamas rush to the windows, unable to sleep because of the horrifying sounds carried by the night wind. Women in curlers pull their blankets close around them as the shadowy, howling shapes move through the streets.

When morning comes there is silence. The wolves have gone away. Moved on in their mysterious way. Their stomachs sag with the weight of a satisfying feast and their fangs drip with the fresh blood of their victims. The children of the town run beside them.

One of the wolves stops long enough to say "SURVIVAL"
